Christmas With The Lopers #2

We didn't put up a tree last year because our apartment was so small and there was no place to put it, so I was really excited to put it up this year. We moved at Thanksgiving, and this was one of the first things that we unpacked. I had broken our star a few years ago, and haven't bought a new one yet, so we used Frosty. It worked out pretty good, but I would like to get a new star or angel for next year. We decided to put most of our presents in the tree since a lot of them were small, and then they would be more out of reach of tiny hands. I really liked the effect.

These pictures are really dark because they were taken at night of our balcony. Our complex had a contest for the most festive balconies and we took second! Our prize is $50 off January's rent. I will take it. Nearly everything was borrowed, mostly from my parents, but we had a few things from our upstairs neighbors. We love having friends so close!

These are wooden bears that my mom had. They are so cute and these pictures don't do them justice. Plus we are on the second floor and I was taking these pictures from the ground so I had to really zoom in.
